Student Registration & Guidelines for the Online Procedure of Placement Programme, 2021:
Dates for Filling the Online Registration Form: 28th February, 2021 – 3rd March, 2021.
Separate Google Form Links for all the eligible batches will be released on 28th February, 2021 at 08:00 AM.
1) Required Documents:
• Admission receipt of the current academic year.
• Curriculum Vitae
• Mark sheets of each academic year, indicating each year’s total aggregate marks (including ATKT mark sheets if any).
• 10th Marksheet
• 12th Marksheet
• Graduation Marksheet (applicable to III-II & III-III)
• Other Educational Courses’ Certificates (if any)
• All Internship certificates (of internships mentioned in CV including the ongoing internship).
2) Guidelines for Uploading the documents:
• All required documents should be properly scanned and legible in the specified Format.
• Admission receipt should be in the JPEG/PDF format, size not exceeding 1 MB.
• All documents excluding Admission Receipt & CV should be accommodated into two different PDFs in the correct order as instructed below.
• PDF consisting of all mark sheets should be named as “Marksheets” and arranged in the following sequence:
1. Marksheet of 1st Year to the recent most semester. (including ATKT mark sheets if any)
2. 10th Marksheet
3. 12th Marksheet
4. Graduation Marksheet (if applicable)
5. Other Educational Courses’ Certificates (if any)
• PDF consisting of all Internship Certificates should be named as “Internship Certificates”. Documents should be arranged in chronological order i.e. newest to the oldest.
• The maximum size of both PDFs should not exceed 10 MB.
• Candidates whose internship duration is completed but still haven’t received the internship certificate should attach a proof/screenshot of any formal email confirming the same. Please note that the proof should mark the duration and dates of the internship.
3) Guidelines for CV:
• The CV must be strictly in the Placement CV format.
• The placement format is as follows: http://www.glcplacements.com/…/New-Placement-CV-Format3…
• Students are required to mention the exact percentage in the CV (up to two decimals only). Percentage must not be rounded off.
• Students may add their extension marks in the total aggregate percentage (if applicable).
• Exact dates of your Internships must be mentioned in the CV and said dates should match those in the Internship Certificate.
• No CVs with Cover Letter will be accepted.
• Do not mention your Personal Contact Details in the CV.
• Students are required to send their updated CVs with the recent most semester marks and percentage.
• CV should be in a PDF format named “FirstName LastName”, size not exceeding 1 MB.
Note: No CV will be accepted if it doesn’t adhere to the Placement CV format or abide by any of the above-mentioned guidelines.
4) The maximum number of recruiters that one student can apply to is 12 in total (Firms/Advocates/Corporates).
5) Students applying for more than one position in the same firm should note that this would be counted as two or more firms.
6) The internship/job may be virtual or physical at the Recruiter’s discretion.
7) Interviews will be conducted in person, by telephone or via Zoom or Google Meet between 8th March – 26th March, 2021 at the Recruiter’s discretion. No request for rescheduling any interview will be entertained.
8) If shortlisted for the interviews, the candidate has to appear for the same. Failing this, he/she shall be banned from taking part in any further interviews for which he/she might be shortlisted as part of February Placement Week, 2021.
9) Students who confirm acceptance of an offer and fail to turn up for the respective vacancy shall be barred from subsequent placement programs through the Placement Committee and/or their university application could be withheld, at the discretion of the General Secretary and the Prof. Incharge of Placement Committee.
10) No applications will be accepted after 3rd March, 2021, 11:59 PM. Students facing any technical issues should immediately contact the Placement Committee members regarding the same.

Important Note:

2) Any numeric data (Internship duration, Dates, Marks, Percentage etc.) mentioned in your CV is of utmost importance and should match with the documents uploaded.
