Rules & Regulations

1. Students must read the placement notices carefully, check the links provided (if any) and apply only if interested. In case of any doubt with regards to the notification, a query can be directed to – with Subject- QUERY- (Name of the respective firm)
1. The CV’s (Curriculum Vitae) submitted by applicants should strictly adhere to the format prescribed by the Placement Committee (until mentioned otherwise). Otherwise, the application will be rejected. (
2. CVs once submitted cannot be modified. Deadlines for online notices will not be extended under any circumstances.
3. If a student has applied via Placement Committee of the college, all communications should take place via the Committee, and in case the student is in any direct contact with the firm, the student must inform the committee about the same immediately.
4. If a student has applied for a firm and gets shortlisted for an interview, it is mandatory for the student to appear for the same.
5. As soon as a student confirms joining a particular firm as an Associate, via Placement Committee, he/she shall not be eligible to apply for any other firm, with immediate cancellation of all pending interviews.
6. As soon as a student confirms to join a particular firm as an Intern or Articled clerk, via Placement Committee, he/she shall not be eligible to apply for any other firm for position of Intern or Article Clerk in the period for which he/she has already confirmed to the previous firm.
7. If any Student confirms to join any Firm for any position, Intern, Articled Clerk & Associate, he/she shall join the firm on the proposed date. Any change or rejection after confirmation should be communicated to Placement Committee well in advance. Also in case the student is not able to provide a satisfactory reason for the same, strict action will be taken against such a student.
8. Students must bring at least 2 Copies of their CV (unless specified otherwise) and it is recommended to wear Black and White formals (unless specified otherwise) during the Interviews. Students will have to report 15 minutes prior to the commencement of the interview and register themselves at the desk.
9. In case of any default with regards to the abovementioned rules, a ban may be imposed on the defaulter, at the complete discretion of the General Secretary of the Placement Committee, and Prof. H.D. Pithawalla (Prof.-in-charge).
10. The Placement Committee reserves the right to change the above rules and regulations.
11. Placement Committee shall not be responsible for any recruiter cancelling their registration or delaying it.

1. A fee of Rs. 450/- will be charged for each Placement Week for which a receipt will be issued.
2. No other fees shall be charged for the academic year 2017-18
3. The above fee is non-refundable.
